Terms of Service

Welcome. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Unburied Talents (the "Service"), operated by Kole Owen ("we," "us," "our"). By uploading a file, paying for a report, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What we provide
Unburied Talents is a one-time, on-demand personal spending audit. You upload CSV exports from your bank or credit card. We parse them, run analytics, and deliver an HTML report to the email address you provide. That is the entirety of what we do. We do not provide financial planning, tax preparation, investment advisory, debt counseling, or any other professional service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to use the Service. You must use only your own financial data or data you are authorized to upload. By using the Service you represent that both of these are true.
3. Payment and pricing
The Service costs $25 USD per report, with a small surcharge for very large datasets ($1 per 100 transactions above 2,500). The final price is shown before you are sent to checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your card details. All prices are in U.S. dollars and exclusive of any applicable taxes, which are your responsibility.
4. Refund policy
If your report fails to generate, arrives incomplete, or contains an obvious technical error (broken charts, missing sections, corrupted file), email us at kole@easyawithabby.com within 48 hours of purchase and we will issue a full refund.
Because the entire deliverable is produced and delivered the moment you receive the email, we cannot offer refunds for reports that were successfully generated and delivered, except as described above or where required by law.
5. Your data
You retain all rights to the financial data you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited, one-time license to process that data for the sole purpose of producing and delivering your report. After delivery, your data is deleted from our systems as described in our Privacy Policy.
The report itself, including its templates, design, analytics methodology, and code, remains our intellectual property. You are free to use the report for any personal purpose. You may not redistribute, resell, or systematically reverse-engineer the report or the Service.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload data you do not own or have permission to use.
- Upload anything that is not a bank or credit-card CSV export (including malware, illegal content, or content that violates anyone’s rights).
- Attempt to disrupt the Service, probe it for vulnerabilities outside a coordinated disclosure, or access any data that is not yours.
- Use the Service to commit fraud or to launder, structure, or disguise transactions.
- Resell, white-label, or commercially redistribute the reports we produce.
We may refuse service, terminate access, or refuse to issue a report at our discretion if we believe these terms have been violated.
7. Not financial advice
The reports we produce are informational only. They are educational summaries of your past spending, not personalized financial, tax, investment, or legal advice. The compound-projection figures (10/20/30/40-year returns) are illustrative; actual investment returns vary, may be negative, and are not guaranteed. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Consult a qualified financial professional before making any financial decision based on the report.
8. No warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. We do not warrant that the categorization, calculations, or insights in any report are free from error.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars ($100), whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability for certain damages; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Unburied Talents, its operator, and any agents or contractors from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Sections 5 (Your data, second paragraph), 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, and 13 will survive any termination.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Tennessee, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts. You agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by emailing us before initiating any formal proceeding.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent change. If we make material changes, we will note them on the site. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
