  4. Set the date range to the maximum available (use a custom range if needed)
  5. Save the file and upload it here

Mobile is limited — use the desktop site for the download option.

Log into bankofamerica.com, then:
  1. Click the account you want to export
  2. Go to the Activity tab
  3. Click the Download button above the transaction list
  4. Select Spreadsheet (.CSV)
  5. Set the date range to the maximum available (up to 18 months)
  6. Click Download

Repeat for each account and upload all files together.

Log into capitalone.com on a desktop browser, then:
  1. Open your account and go to the Transactions view
  2. Click Download Transactions or the export icon
  3. Choose CSV format
  4. Download the file

⚠ Capital One's CSV export covers only the last 90 days. To maximize your history, download separate CSVs for as many 90-day windows as you can access, then upload all of them together.

Log into usaa.com, then:
  1. Click the account you want to export
  2. Open the "I want to…" menu (upper area of the account page)
  3. Select Export
  4. Choose Comma-Delimited (CSV) as the file type
  5. Select the widest available date range (up to 18 months)
  6. Click Download

Repeat for each account and upload all files together.

Log into wellsfargo.com, then:
  1. Click the account you want to export
  2. Click Download Account Activity (link above the transaction list)
  3. Choose Comma Separated (CSV) as the file type
  4. Set the date range to the maximum available (up to 18 months)
  5. Click Download

Repeat for each account and upload all files together.

Download as much history as your bank allows — typically 18–24 months. The more transaction data you include, the more meaningful your report's trends, projections, and comparisons will be. When in doubt, always choose the longer range.

Your audit is underway.

Check your inbox — your spending report usually arrives within 5 minutes.

Questions

What you might be wondering

What banks are supported?

We currently support CSV exports from Chase, Discover, Bank of America, Capital One, USAA, and Wells Fargo. Each bank has its own export format, and the report builder normalizes them automatically. If you have accounts at multiple institutions, upload all files together — the system will reconcile them into a single unified view and deduplicate any inter-account transfers.

Is my financial data secure?

Your CSV files are uploaded over HTTPS and processed on our server to generate the report. As soon as the report is emailed to you, the uploaded files and the generated report are deleted from our server. We do not maintain a database of customers, do not sell data to third parties, and never receive your card information — payment is handled entirely by Stripe. Full details in our Privacy Policy.

What exactly is in the report?

The report contains 19 sections, including: an executive summary, full category breakdown, monthly spending trends, top merchants by volume, recurring subscription inventory, the "Latte Effect" (small purchases with high cumulative cost), compound impact projections for your top spending habits, an investment rate calculation, and more. It's delivered as a self-contained HTML file that works offline and in any browser.

What if I have more than one account?

That's the intended use case. Upload all your CSV files at once — checking account, credit cards, whatever you have. The reconciliation engine detects and removes duplicate entries (like a credit card payment appearing in both your checking and credit card exports), so you get a clean total picture of your actual spending, not double-counted transfers.

How long does it take?

Report generation typically completes within 2–5 minutes of payment. For larger datasets (10,000+ transactions), allow up to 10 minutes. The report is emailed directly to you, so there's nothing to wait in front of — close the tab, check your inbox when you're ready.

Can I get a refund if I'm not satisfied?

Yes. If the report fails to generate, is incomplete, or contains obvious errors, email kole@easyawithabby.com within 48 hours and we'll issue a full refund. We can't offer refunds for reports that were successfully generated and delivered — the analysis is done the moment the file lands in your inbox.
